Rewa Choker
An Indian choker necklace handcrafted in gold. The central unit is a kundan-set hexagon, housing a six-petaled rosette and small leaves, all dressed in polki/uncut diamonds and painted in blue khula meena using the champlevé meenakari technique of the Jaipur Gharana (school). A line of cultured pearls borders the hexagon, along with emerald beads using chakkar-pirai.
The hexagon is surrounded by intricately designed elements, all kundan-set with polki/uncut diamonds and other colored gemstones. Four parallel lines of twisted strands of cultured pearls hold the central unit in place, crafted using pirai, the craft of stringing beads with thin gold wire.
